Underwater Club - Snorkeling trips to Goats Island

MUA Underwater Club (2020/R1)

The Massey University Albany Underwater Club received funding from the 1st grant round to purchase snorkel equipment, dive equipment, beach clean-up gear and safety gear. We appreciate being awarded this grant as it enabled us to purchase safety gear for our club members to use on Dive and Snorkel trips and enabled us to actually go out into the water with the club and expose everyone to the beauty of the underwater environment. We purchased snorkel hire gear for 2 events which was awesome everyone had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed their time in the water.
