MUMSA - Clubs' Day success

MUMSA Muslim Students' Association (2020/R1)

MUMSA participate in club days held on 26th of Feb 2020 as part of providing support to new students and guide the prayer space, daily prayers timing, halal food supply, and upcoming MUMSA events. We collect information from a new student who showed interest to get be the part of the MUMSA club, the purpose of this grant was to greet Massey students and provide them some delicious food while there are on our stall. We have a good number of attendees participated in interesting conversation and their experience of joining MUMSA as a club. We explain the last years events and how things are carried out in the last years. Explain the point of the first contact in MUMSA and future events arrange by MUMSA.  We also explain the roles and responsibilities of MUMSA executives and share their details to make them more approachable. Few of our exciting MUMSA students and staff also attended for re-affiliation and enjoyed pizza and refreshments.

Special thanks: We would like to thank ASA and Massey University, especially Kay-Leigh Wheeler and Jacqueline Adams, for helping us with everything before the event especially regarding the grant application processes.
