MAPSA - new club branded shirts
MAPSA - Massey Albany Pasifika Students' Association (2020/R4)
Clubs Day (22/07/2020) for Semester 2 was a hit for MAPSA! Our executive team had a great time together, playing music, sharing laughs with new and old members and serving hot chocolate and coffee to passers-by. We also ran a "guess how many lollies" competition which made for a great conversation starter with new students. We were able to connect with our members that couldn't make it through live streaming on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We give our thanks for the opportunity to promote our club and take part in the event, it was a great opportunity to add to the vibrancy of campus life!

We would also like to give a big thanks to Kay-Leigh, the ASA, and the CSCG committee for helping us apply for this grant application in order to fund our new MAPSA t-shirts. Not only did the shirts help students identify our club on the day, but it also enabled us to give back to our community by using a Pasifika supplier. This was important to us given the impact of COVID-19 to small businesses in New Zealand. These shirts are the first to be designed, and we hope to have our members contribute to designing more shirts that will be available for club members to purchase.
