MUA Underwater Club (2020/R1)

The Underwater Club would like to thank the Grant Committee for their continued support and funding which has allowed us to hold events for our members. In 2020, we were lucky enough to receive funding from Rounds 1 and 2 which allowed us to take part in exciting events including the International Ocean Film Festival, Auckland Whale and Dolphin Safari, two snorkelling days at Goat Island Marine Reserve and a visit Kelly Tarltons Sea Life Aquarium. We were also awarded fuel and food grants to hold our AGM and to travel to and from our events.

In addition to this, in 2019 we were the winners for 'New Club of the Year' and in 2020 we won 'best club event of the year'. We have also gained more members, built relationships with many companies and established an online presence where we share current events, research and news. We could not have achieved this without the support and funding from the Grant Committee!! On behalf of our members and executive team, THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!!!
