MAPSA - Massey Albany Pasifika Students' Association (2021/R4)

We are delighted to report back on another successful Clubs Day for 2021. This time, we served up some hot koko alaisa and koko Samoa. Koko alaisa is a Samoan dish usually eaten for breakfast. It roughly translates to cocoa rice, and is made with Samoan koko, rice, and coconut milk. Koko Samoa is similar, but a hot drink made from Samoan koko. Both were perfect for the weather and sparked good conversations about our food and cultures.

We ran our "Name the Pacific Island" flag game again with ula loles (lolly necklaces) as the prizes. We had some great attempts from students and staff alike.

We'd like to thank the committee for helping us deliver another successful Clubs Day. The funds we received helped us create yet another memorable Clubs Day. We look forward to seeing what we can come up with for future Clubs Days.
