AMESS Hot Ones
AMESS - Engineering Society (2021/R3)
In week 3 of Sem 2 we held a Hot Ones competition alongside our bi-weekly barbeque. This event was based on the popular show of the same name and was a gauntlet style eating event. Contestants would eat chicken wings (or cauliflower as an alternative) with a hot sauce that increased in spice each round. We prepared 10 rounds for the contestants to complete and offered prizes as an incentive.
We anticipated roughly 10-15 people for this event and ended up having 22 contestants, this was an amazing turn out and everyone had a good time. We gave out prizes for the top 5 remaining contestants:
- 1st a $100 Westfield card
- 2nd a $50 Westfield card
- 3rd a $25 Westfield card
- 4th a Popsicle pool floaty
- 5th a Box of Favourites
