MUA Cricket Club (2018/R7)

We have had several rounds of nets in the Recreation Centre up to date & and have received excellent response with keen interest and steadily growing attendance leading up to the 2018 - 2019 cricket season where we fielded a Massey University Cricket Team under the TDCC banner and most importantly we have had a lot of fun. The Sunday T20 team pre-Christmas was at the top of the table. After Christmas the team lost in the semi-finals of the post-Christmas season. Yoshan, Aditya, Neville and Somnath played the Saturday limited overs and the Two-day format with the Takapuna cricket club. The above-mentioned players achieved great success such as Yoshan who had figures of 32/6 in 7 overs in a two-day game and Aditya who scored a half century with a broken finger. Neville who had 21/5 in 9 overs in limited overs game, 73/6 in 18 overs in the two-day game and a hat trick in a Sunday T20 match and finally Somnath who scored 3 half centuries. A special shutout to the new members Inuka Panditha and Mohan Krishna who played the last few games of the outdoor season with the Takapuna Cricket club on short notice.
