Massey University Albany Snow Club - Ruapehu Trip 1 2021

MUA Snow Club (2021/R3)

This grant was used to subsidise our first trip to Mount Ruapehu for 2021, covering the majority of accommodation costs, and costs for transportation and fuel. It trip will took place from the July 30th to August 1st. We stayed at LKNZ Lodge in Ohakune, close to Turoa Ski field, and the amenities at the base of Mount Ruapehu. 

This trip gave Massey Students the opportunity to challenge themselves by taking up a new hobby and build new relationships with other students making lasting memories of their time at university. Our first and only weekend trip for the year was a success, everyone had a great time. Just look at the smiles in the photos. While this event benefitted those who attended, it also benefitted the club as students may share their experience and entice other students to not only join the club, but also to get involved.

This trip gave us the opportunity to show our members the benefits of joining our club and helped provide them with a great university experience.
