Massey Albany Movie Club (MAMC) (2019/R5)

Movie Club has had a very successful year with strong attendance of events and a great transition to a new booking system that reduced the workload behind the scenes and streamlined the ticket pick up process for members.

See below for attendance stats for the year to date:

Our new system was started from John Wick onwards. There is a drop in numbers between the two films, but we attribute that drop to people adjusting to the new system and the end of this section of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). There are more Marvel films coming next year so we can compare numbers to get a better understanding of attendance with this new system.

We've had 441 event attendees this year and will hopefully have over 500 by the end of the year.

Grant Update

The grant was used to purchase more movie vouchers from Event Cinemas. This was for us to continue hosting new films as they were released. Of the original 300 tickets ordered we now have 169 tickets remaining for our final three screenings of the year:

1. Joker ( 4th October)

2. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (17th October)

3. Zombieland: Double Tap (18th October)

We expect to use approximately 100 tickets in these final three screenings.
