MAPSA - End of Year Function

MAPSA - Massey Albany Pasifika Students' Association (2019/R8)

On the night of Wednesday 13th November 2019, MAPSA hosted and held our final event for the 2019 year our End-of-Year social.

Our theme was "Summer Nights" and as an executive team, we decided on hiring The Ferguson's as our venue, getting a Pasifika DJ, and having a grazing table of foods plus The Ferguson's finger food. We also decided on pushing for maximum ticket sales with each executive member (8) all getting 10 tickets to sell to MAPSA members and guests out of uni too.

Overall, the night was a success, with a turnout of more than 40 people. Those who attended had great feedback on the night; they enjoyed the food, the music but most of all the company.

Another positive outcome from our event was the financial boost it also gave our club and the camaraderie it further cemented within our members.
