ASA is taking the safety of students, staff and the wider community seriously. As per the government directive, the ASA Office in the student lounge is now CLOSED. But, we are all working from home and will continue to deliver our services.

ASA Advocacy Service
The ASA Advocacy service is working remotely and are ready to help you. Please read the information on our website and if you need further assistance, please click the request help button and complete the form. A member of our team will respond to you either by email, telephone or if required using an online meeting.
We have added a web page with welfare information during the Covid-19 pandemic. https://asa.ac.nz/advocacy/covid-support
This includes information on a new fund that has been made available to assist students who have a hardship issue related with the COVID-19 situation. Links to food banks and other support services are also included.
ASA Class Advocates
We have recently emailed all clubs with information, and will continue to communicate with club committees via email and the club executive facebook page.
As per the government directive, you can now only engage with your club members in an online format; and the email that was sent out has a whole heap of ideas on how you can do this. Club members who do not live in the same house may not meet up with each other.
ASA has automatically extended club affiliation dates for an extra month. If you have already submitted your 2020 affiliation, that's great, but if you haven't done it yet, rest assured, that your club (if affiliated in 2019) will stay affiliated until 30th April 2020. We will be providing more information around this shortly.
If you are seeking a payment from your club funds, please scan or photograph the receipts/invoices and email to firstname.lastname@example.org . We will send you back a template to complete and will seek authorisation via email from your club committee.
